Office Systems Northwest billed clients for engineer time spent supporting their networks, but their billing process was manual and complex. When the billing clerk gave her notice, I volunteered to create a simple system to capture time and billing. It took me about two months to get it working and it completely replaced all of the manual processes.
TimeSaver had dynamically generated menus based on the access rights granted to the user. I evolved this technique several times and used subsequent versions of this technique in P3PL, Podium and FLSA.
